The prestigious Château Canon is situated on the Saint-Émilion limestone plateau and was acquired in 1996 by the luxury fashion house Chanel, who also own two other estates in Bordeaux. Château Berliquet also in Saint-Émilion and Château Rauzan-Ségla in Margaux. In 1989, the estate was owned by the Fournier family, with the vineyards of the time planted to Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Expect delicate red fruit character with smoky tobacco nuances from this mature vintage.
