Merchant's description

The 1996 Château Clerc Milon is a Fifth Growth Bordeaux from Pauillac, composed of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc. This wine opens with an intense and complex bouquet of cedar, tobacco leaf, graphite and melted tar, layering over a core of ripe black cherry and cassis fruit. The palate is medium-bodied, elegant and refined, showcasing a balance between well-integrated tannins, fresh acidity and savoury, earthy flavours that lead to a long, generous finish.
