Clerc Milon 1999 is a Fifth Growth red wine from the Pauillac estate owned by the Rothschild family. This vintage is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot and 18% Cabernet Franc, matured in 55% new French oak. The 1999 season produced a wine that is now fully mature and seductive, displaying a bouquet of roasted herbs, cedar and cassis. On the palate, it is velvety-textured and approachable, with soft tannins and a creamy mid-palate typical of this classic Bordeaux vintage.
