Domaine Odoul Coquard Gevrey-Chambertin Aux Combottes 2022 is a full-bodied Burgundy red wine from the Premier Cru of Aux Combottes in the Gevrey-Chambertin commune of the Côte de Nuits. Based in Morey-Saint-Denis, Domaine Odoul-Coquard is a well-established producer which origins go back to the 1930s. Chief winemaker Sébastien Odoul joined the family business in 2004, after gaining in-depth work experience at Domaine Dujac, Mommessin, and Domaine Denis Mortet. This cuvée is from Aux Combottes – one of the top 1er Cru sites in Gevrey, bordering the Grands Crus of Clos de la Roche and Latricieres-Chambertin. Expect dark, spicy Gevrey fruit and pronounced mineral-led structure.
