Merchant's description
The 1990 grand vin from Saint-Estèphe Second Growth, Château Montrose is possibly one of the finest wines they have ever produced which is incredible to believe considering it followed the almighty 1989. It is a full-bodied and powerful blend composed of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc. Undoubtedly in its prime for drinking now, this should continue to develop over the next decade or so.
