Muchada-Leclapart Univers 2020 is a medium-bodied barrel-aged white wine produced from Palomino grapes in Sanlúcar, Spain. Muchada-Leclapart is a co-venture of Alejandro Muchada and Champagne producer David Leclapart. Having been struck by the parallels between making wine in Jerez and Champagne, they launched their joint venture to explore the terroir potential of unfortified white wines from old clones of Palomino in and around Jerez. Univers is produced from a biodynamically farmed vineyard parcel close to the coast in Pago Miraflores Baja. Salty, fine-textured with hints of chamomile, stone fruits and almond.
