Merchant's description

Pingus 1999 is a concentrated red wine from Ribera del Duero, produced by Peter Sisseck from biodynamically farmed old-vine Tempranillo near La Horra. The season’s warmth and low yields delivered a wine of density and aromatic intensity, but one that retained remarkable balance, with fine tannins and vibrant acidity. Deep and brooding on release, it has evolved towards layered complexity with notes of dark plum, tobacco leaf and graphite.
