Dominio de Pingus was founded in 1995 by Danish winemaker, Peter Sisseck. With incredibly small production of extremely old-vine Tempranillo, he is one of the most acclaimed producers in the Ribera del Duero region and has a global reputation for thoroughly modern, highly characterful and long-lived wines. The 2008 is a phenomenal release with remarkable balance of fruit, acidity, tannin and oak, with wonderful mineral inflections and epic length. It is perfect for drinking now but will easily last until the end of the decade.
