Tenuta San Guido’s flagship wine, Sassicaia, is made from a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc. The 2001 vintage is now fully mature and ready to drink. It has dark plum and dried fig aromas with distinctly savoury, cured meat tones. Drink with herb-encrusted rack of lamb.
