The 2005 Sassicaia is a great expression of this highly successful Super Tuscan, made up of Cabernet Sauvignon with a small amount of Cabernet Franc. Medium to full-bodied, it reveals understated, delicate notes of smoke, herbs, tobacco and dark fruits. Very fleshy tannins and a great concentration of fruit. Drink between now and 2025.
