Merchant's description
The 2005 is an impressive release from Château Haut-Bailly that punches well above its weight. It is medium-bodied and sinewy but delivers delicious waves of pure red cherry fruit with subtle inflections of spices, earth and graphite. Decanting is certainly recommended as this still exhibits quite formidable structure.
