Merchant's description
Château Branaire-Ducru is a 4ème Cru Classé estate situated on the opposite side of the road from Château Beychevelle in the south of the St-Julien appellation. The 2005 is a wonderful release with intensely rich fruit and hefty tannic structure yet delightful underlying acidity and superb overall harmony. Now perfectly in its drinking window.
