Merchant's description

Now one of Italy’s most recognised and celebrated fine wines, Tignanello 1999 is a blend of mostly Sangiovese (85%) with lesser parts Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) and Cabernet Franc (5%) from a single vineyard in the heart of Chianti Classico. Described by the Wine Spectator as follows, `A gorgeous nose reveals black currant, cherry, licorice and mineral notes. On the palate, this is vibrant and long, with a finish that echoes the fruit and mineral elements.`
