Now one of Italy’s most recognised and celebrated fine wines, Tignanello is a blend of mostly Sangiovese with lesser parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc sourced from a single vineyard in the heart of Chianti Classico. On the nose, the 2000 vintage reveals ripe, black cherry fruit with leather, pipe tobacco, teriyaki, espresso, and a certain earthiness. On the palate the fruit and non-fruit notes are confirmed. Enjoy it now.
